The challenge
Within one location, various artificial turf applications had to seamlessly connect. The hitting zones had to withstand intensive use and provide sufficient cushioning, while the putting area needed to have consistent and realistic ball behavior. At the same time, the entire setup had to align perfectly with the aesthetic of Flight Amsterdam.
Our approach
We custom-designed the various components and professionally installed the artificial turf surfaces. The hitting bays are equipped with high-quality hitting mats with cushioning, designed for intensive use in the simulators. In addition, we installed the putting area and other artificial turf surfaces, where the different materials and connections together form a cohesive whole.
The result
A complete indoor golf environment where various artificial turf solutions seamlessly come together. The simulator bays offer a comfortable and durable hitting position, while the putting area provides space for training outside the simulator as well. The result is a high-quality finish that matches both the intensive use and the aesthetic of Flight Amsterdam.
The story
For Flight Amsterdam's new location, a complete artificial turf solution was needed that brings together the various components of indoor golf. From 4Golfmats, we contributed ideas on the right materials and the layout of the playing surfaces. From the simulator bays and hitting mats to the putting area: everything is tailored for intensive indoor use and a high-quality appearance.
