The challenge
The targets had not been maintained for years. Moss, organic dirt, and clogged infill made the artificial turf hard, colorless, and poorly playable. The club wondered if replacement could still be avoided.
Our approach
We carried out intensive maintenance: deep cleaning and de-mossing, brushing up and straightening the fibers, removing and reapplying infill, repairing edges, and sharpening the colors and markings of the targets again.
The result
Targets that look like new again, with bright colors and an even, well-playable mat. No replacement needed, thus a fraction of the cost and zero waste. The range could be fully used again that same day.
The story
On the driving range of Golfbaan De Kromme Rijn, there were targets that had been lying there for years without maintenance. Soiled, clogged, full of moss, and with discolored colors. At first glance, replacement seemed the only option. We saw something else: good quality artificial turf that mainly craved attention. In just one day, we completely overhauled all targets. The result is almost unbelievable.
